Chest Press + Horizontal Row – Fitness equipment
With the FST104 everyone can enjoy a strength training matched to their individual abilities. The only requirement is the ability to stand, sit, push and pull! Resistance is adjusted with two controllers on the hydraulic piston. From the standing positions you can perform chest presses, training the chest, shoulder and core muscles. By pulling the arms backwards you will be able to train all major arm, shoulder and back muscles. The adjustable equipment stands out with resistance adjustable devices that are used in a standing position. Standing is essential in nearly all our movements and activities. The Holzhof Balancing and Climbing Hexagonal Gym is made up of glue laminated timber with two layers of struts (i.e. 9*9cm + ground bracket).
The vertical wall bar has 40mm wooden rungs. The climbing rope is covered in polypropylene with 16mm twisted steel rope. Column fixing has been done with plastic thimble. Along with plastic ball joints of 50mm and steel tubular pole of 40mm.

When testing elderly for functional capacity two of the most widely used tests are the Sit & Rise and the Up & Go test. This installation is specifically targeted towards executing these two tests – and to train for improvements in the tests. The rail in the middle and the round handle at the turning point gives extra safety and support if needed. Sit to stand can be exercised from the seat using one hand, two hands or no support. For a really challenging exercise sit to stand can be performed on one leg using hand support. The timed up and go test can also be used as pure exercise. From the seated position you walk to the post and back. To increase difficulty level this can be done a number of times as fast as possible.
